LIVE OR DIE FOR IT
Throwing Stones
Shot put is an Olympic sport that consists of throwing a 16lb metal cannon ball as far as possible. Each throw is measured in meters and the person who puts the shot the farthest wins the competition. The athlete must keep their entire body inside of an 8ft circle, or the throw is called a foul. Competitors compete in a preliminary round of three throws, and the top 9 athletes from those preliminary throws take 3 more throws in the final round.
